Thinking of how best to use your summer?

At the Oxbridge International Summer School, we know what it takes to make a compelling application to top universities around the world. With over 10 years of supporting students in preparing at university, we know that preparing early is essential, as is exploring your subject beyond your school curriculum.

If you are studying GCSEs or A-Levels at Wycombe Abbey and considering an application to Oxford, Cambridge or other top universities around the world, you'll be considering how to spend your summer months effectively. We believe academic summer schools are an excellent way to expand subject knowledge, develop independent study skills and familiarise yourself with university environments.

The Oxbridge International Summer School is a competitive-entry, two-week academic programme held at Lincoln College, Oxford. Currently in our 8th year, we are the smallest and most exclusive summer school in Oxford, with a maximum of 50 students per programme, and an average of 6 students per class.

Students pick one of our twelve academic courses, learn in tutorials and seminars taught by Oxbridge graduates, work with other top students from across the globe and participate in a packed timetable of extra-curricular activities.

Cornelia, (OISS 2017), who is now pursuing a degree in Biomedicine at the Karolinska Institutet in her native Sweden said, "The tutors were really helpful and willing to answer questions, both about the tutorials and about life in Oxford and at uni. This goes for the rest of the staff as well, I enjoyed my two weeks and wish I could have stayed longer!"

Our sister company, Oxbridge Interviews, has been delivering application advice at the UK's elite public schools for over ten years, and has been delivering practice interviews to Oxbridge applicants at Wycombe Abbey since 2012.
