Programme Director and Head of Tutors - Rachael Griffiths
Rachael is the Programme Director at the Oxbridge International Summer School.
After completing her undergraduate degree at SOAS, University of London, she studied for her Masters at the University of Oxford. She is now a studying for her PhD in Tibetan History at Wolfson College, University of Oxford and has taught the history course for the last two years on our summer school.
Rachael will also be in charge of pastoral care on the summer school. She has served as Junior Dean at St Hilda's College, Oxford for the last three years, meaning she holds full responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of Oxford undergraduates.
She has also worked as a ski instructor in Canada, and speaks four languages - English, French, Tibetan and Welsh! Rachel will be in charge of making a 'home away from home' for all our summer school students.
